What's File Of Life Cooking?
Hello everyone, and welcome to our discussion board.
We're onto our 15th year, growing and still running with products and programs to help save lives.
We've been contacted regarding the possibility of adding electronic products. Currently we handle "paper-trail" products. Which work through providing emergency personnel important medical information about an individual via a hand-written, filled-out medical information card.
This particular concept proves very effective, and continues to be a highly used method.
Another highly brought up method, which has been said to plan to take heavy initiation by around 2011 - Is the utilization of taking medical records, and having them converted to an electronic approach.
Is this something that is looking to be also utilized for emergency personell? From what we hear and read, it currently seems that this concept is primarily for hospitals, but yet seems like it's something that can domino right into the emergency sector.
Could any emergency personnel or anyone else give us insight on this? Would availability of such medical information be very useful if it could be obtained via computer USB drives, or even if it was to be available from a person's own cell phone? Please feel free to post information on the discussion board. We'd really like as much feedback on this to better help us to possibly even follow in this 2011 evolution.
Also, any information anyone can give us regarding situations in which the File Of Life program has been effective would be most helpful.
Another topic we're always open to suggestions on, is possible ways we could improve on our products and services.
These topics and any other topics you'd like to bring to our attention, by all means, please post it on the discussion board - Or contact us at Telephone: 1-800-814-1788 , Or E-Mail: folife@folife.org .
The better we can make the File Of Life program for you - The better it will be for the peace of mind of everyone.
